gorgeous sonics and atmosphere on this record, as should be the case on any slowdive album. this album successfully modernizes their sound without compromising on the dreamy textures and beautiful songs that made slowdive so good in the first place. does falter a little on the back half but not much, and the best tracks hold up to the band's classic songs imo. really a late-career masterpiece tbh
